My biggest struggle with my health was feeling helpless and overwhelmed
Sara wanted to prioritize her health
As a busy working mom of two boys I wanted to start prioritizing my health. I wanted to develop healthy habits by stopping my destructive patterns and feeling healthy and free of constantly thinking about my diet and body.
Through our weekly one-on-one calls, Lori helped me set up small manageable goals that lead to my larger outcomes I wanted. She listened to me without judgement and helped me overcome challenges that had been holding me back. Lori also checked in on me in-between session to make sure I was staying on track.
What did Sara accomplish?
Cultivated a healthy relationship towards food.
I was surprised at how resistant I was to change when we got down to my negative relationship towards food. I learned to listen to my body and discover where my cravings were coming from, which allowed me to stop turning to food for emotional comfort. I learned more about nutrition and what foods are best for my body and how the foods I had been eating were lacking in nutrients and that just kept me craving more.
Stopped the negative self-talk
I didn’t realize how hard I was on myself and what affect that was having on me. I am now able to take a step back and exercise forgiveness towards myself when I mess up.
Ran a marathon
I gained the confidence to achieve my dream of running a marathon! By the end of the 90 day program I had gotten back into running, which lead to training for my first marathon and then my second..
Manage my stress
I had been hiding my stress and internalizing my emotions around it. I now know how to recognize stress and manage it in a healthy way.
Since first working with Lori I have lost over 20 lbs. I wouldn't have been able to do it without the mind-set tools and getting to the root cause of my weight loss struggles. I had lost weight in the past, but lacked the tools to maintain a healthy diet and deal with stress without turning to food. Lori made the difference!
